Big news for The HillBenders! ___________ The 2010 Open-Mic Championship winners have signed an exclusive representation deal with one of the industry's premier booking agencies, Class Act Entertainment. Class Act founder, and former IBMA Board Chairman, Mike Drudge, saw the band perform at this years IBMA World of Bluegrass convention in Nashville, TN and right away the talks began. A graduate of Purdue University, Drudge established Class Act Entertainment in 1993 and his current and former roster of artists is a who’s who of the best that Bluegrass and Americana music has to offer.
“Roster additions are few and far between with our agency”, said Drudge, “but The HillBenders are an obvious choice and a perfect fit for the CAE family, where all the acts are Class Acts”. “The move is a huge step in the right direction for us”, says HillBenders mandolin player, Nolan Lawrence, “we are proud to be newest Class Act Entertainment artist and excited to see what the future holds in store for us!”.
