Here's his message.
Over the past ten years, it’s been my privilege and honor to tour all across the US and Canada with Monroe Crossing. Over 1000 concerts in venues large and small. Great music, amazing musicians, wonderful audiences, true fans & friends at every stop. There’s things I won’t miss about being on the road, but taking the stage with my bandmates and playing really excellent bluegrass music before a locked-in audience is not one of them. What a thrill!
And so I thank you. We thank you. Our fans and supporters have made our dream of playing the music of Bill Monroe for a living a reality. You’ve made it possible for us to share our creative musical talents near and far, and I’m proud to say that we’ve never forgotten that, and we never will.
If you get the chance during this busy time of year, it would be great to see you one last time.
