Charlie Louvin, the last of the two Louvin Brothers passed away on Wed. Jan. 26th. Their musical influence had an effect on countless performers from the Everly Brothers to the Byrds to the Gibson Brothers [Eric Gibson Sound Bite Inserted -:08]

Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper have a new banjo picker.  Charlie Cushman.  According to Cleveland, "To have Charlie join the band is a dream come true"

Sierra Hull will release her first new CD in over 2 years this coming March.  "Daybreak" will be released on Rounder Records, March 8th.

The Marathon Jam season is upon us once again. Saturday, Feb. 26th is the scheduled date for most communities.  Proceeds will benefit the Fischer House Foundation - which provides homes away from home for families of wounded soldiers.
