The Cherryholmes family band is throwing in the towel.  In a letter on the band's website they tell their fans that it's only right their young folks be allowed to follow their own dreams and goals for the future.


The Gibson Brothers have announced Feb. 22 as the release date for their new CD entitled "Help My Brother"   The CD features the full Gibson Brothers Band with special guests: Ricky Skaggs and Reining IBMA Female Vocalist Claire Lynch amoung others.


Rhonda Vincent and the Rage WOW'd the Wyoming State Legislature's House of Representatives  in their first sessison of the new year.  The band was invited to play for the opening session by Speaker Ed Buchanan.  The full assembly greeted the band with an entusiastic standing ovatiion.


Monroe Crossing has promoted guitarist Art Blackburn to fulltime manager and Derek Johnson has come on board to fill the guitar spot.


Town Mountain, Spring Creek and Finders and Youngberg all have new CD's waiting to be released this spring and their managment company Pickin' Productions is offering free samples.  You  can download four different songs from the new CDs.  Read the full story on the Prescription Bluegrass Blog for the download site.
