The latest IBMA survey sent to approximately 4,000 IBMA members and former member has been tallied and the results have been published as of today for public review.
The IBMA board will be reviewing the results and the Survey Committee's preliminary analysis thereof, along with the specific write-in comments and suggestions that were made. Here is a link where you can see the results for yourself:

Some noteworthy results
The highest percentage of respondents had either a 4 year or post graduate education level and the over 50 age group dominated with age 61-70 being the largest. An overwhelming majority of the respondents came from the United States (91.8%) with only a spattering from Canada, Europe, Africa, Australia and the Far East.
A couple of notes about the results:
1. Only aggregated results are reported to protect the confidentiality of respondents.
2. The raw comments that were written in on the survey are not included to preserve confidentiality, but IBMA will be reviewing these comments and preparing a summary that we expect will be released.
3. If you have comments on the results, you can send them to the Survey Committee c/o IBMA Board member and Survey Committee chair Dwight Worden.
