Great things are happening for Mike. Since the release of his two new albums, TAKE ME LORD AND USE ME and BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY/A 100TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE TO BILL MONROE, he has been nominated in the New Artist category of the 2011 Front Porch Fellowship Gospel Awards. The winner will be announced during the Bluegrass Pickin’ Jamboree at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY on Wednesday, September 14th. Also, “Since I Laid My Burdens Down” from the album, TAKE ME LORD AND USE ME, is #1 on Powergrass Radio’s Top 10 Song chart for July and August, 2011. Click to listen.
