Lee Marcus Releases “Grandpa’s Pond” CD

Lee Marcus who left former Navy band leader Wayne Taylor’s Appaloosa band just last year to pursue his education has now released his first solo CD.
Lee's freshman CD, "Grandpa's Pond", is now available and features Josh Shilling, Cia Cherryholmes, Jim VanCleve, Wyatt Rice, Christian Ward, Clint Wilson, Kalyn Hall, Aaron Ramsey, and Jason Moore.

Lee is the man who created the BANJO BUZZ haircut phenomenon early this year on Facebook as a unique promotional stunt for this CD project. His idea quickly grew into a grass-roots fundraiser for a worthwhile cause.   The Bluegrass Legacy reported that "Lee has lost his mind, ...but in a good way".   

Lee promised that if enough people clicked the “LIKE” button on his page he would Buzz-Cut a Banjo outline into the back of his head and to make it even more interesting, he also promised to make a sizeable donation to his favorite charity; St Jude’s Research Hospital for Children.

Lee is making good on his promise and the first 100 CD  Sales will generate $1,000 for the cause.
