The 4th Annual Carolina Road Homecoming Bluegrass Festival is thrilled to announce the line up for this year's event that will be held Veteran's day weekend, November 11-12 at the Ramada Inn in Burlington, NC.
Bluegrass fans will enjoy tunes from the best pickers and grinners in the industry including Marty Raybon, Al Batten & The Bluegrass Reunion, Danny Stanley & The Bluegrass Gents, Karl Shiflett & Big Country, David Davis & The Warrior River Boys, Rye Holler Boys, Grass Cats, Dean Osborne, Vince Combs & Shadetree Grass, Jesse Alexander Band, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call, and David Parmley and Continental Divide.
"If you still like the 'Ole Time Way' and traditional Bluegrass, this is the event for you," explains festival owner/founding member of Carolina Road, Lorraine Jordan. "There are no strangers and it's like one big family reunion at the Carolina Road Homecoming Bluegrass Festival. Bluegrass fans are definitely getting more bands for your buck at this year's event."
Jordan began the festival to honor veterans and to show appreciation to all the Carolina Road fans. The North Carolina native chose Burlington as the location for her festival because it has always been a bluegrass town with one of the longest running festivals down the road in Snow Camp. It also happens to be the mid-point of where all the Carolina Road Boys live, which explains why it is such a great location for the homecoming.
The festival will be held at the Ramada Inn Conference Center, where festival-goers have the option of staying at the hotel or at the campground down the road. "Rates at the Ramada Inn are very affordable and the food is delicious" boasts Jordan. "We hope to have a great social event where everyone can enjoy the music and meet and greet with in-room jamming and hospitality rooms where the fans mingle."
