Arizona’s hottest new bluegrass group X-Train (formed just this past year with former National Flatpicking Champion Peter McLaughlin reuniting with Banjo Master Ross Nickerson and old friends and former band mates, Bob Dennecourt and Mark Miracle) are headed down under for a bluegrass walk-about that begins with the Harrietville Bluegrass Festival in Victoria, Australia on December 17th and winding up at the Australian Banjo Conference in Queensland, December 8th through 11th. Along the way they’ll also get the chance to hop over to New Zealand for a short tour there as well.
Mandolinist for the group, Mark Miracle, will be a special Prescription Bluegrass “Guest Blogger” journaling the experience for us. We look forward to reading his reports and seeing his photos.
