Willies Locally Known in Lexington, KY was the place last Saturday night for a rousing benefit fundraiser to help support the World Wide Bluegrass Internet Radio Station. (See Related Story).

The Worldwidebluegrass.com fundraiser at Willie's Locally Known this past Saturday was a huge success! We had 9 hours of great Bluegrass streaming live to the station servers so listeners at home could get in on the action as well.
Willie's had a full house all afternoon and evening and the bands performed their very best! I'm very pleased with the turnout and it couldn't have been possible without the help of the bands, volunteers and Prescription Bluegrass and Bluegrass Today for spreading the word.
The amount raised can not be made public at this time but I'll just say that a good cushion has been collected and for that, I have to personally thank everyone who came out to see the show and who have bought CD's and t-shirts as well.
The two 50/50 draws we had were also successful in the fact both winners donated their winnings back to the station and for that, we thank them very much.
