Image634918417914936337It is now official that Hammertowne is the 2012 Band On Rise Nationally (B.O.R.N.) Award Winner.

It was obvious from the beginning that these guys were going to work the hardest to win. One of the other bands said "They knew they could not push as hard as these guys pushed".

The other three to be invited to concert are Breaking Grass, Mountain Faith, and Cumberland River.

On March 2nd 2013, these 4 great bluegrass bands will represent National Bluegrass as the winners of their monthly people’s choice, emerging artist contest at a live concert at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Greeneville, Tennessee. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from the NPAC Box Office for $20 each plus a $2.50 internet transaction fee per ticket. You can avoid paying the fee by calling the box office directly at (423) 638-1679. Check National Bluegrass often for updates.

Apparently Nothing, they WON didn't they? Way too much is made out of an electric bass verses a doghouse or whatever. Heck, many bands use electric uprights. What the diff? Ever hear of Doyle lawson?,,,, Sounds like Sour Grapes To me. I went to Youtube and listened. If that band ain't Bluegrass there's no such thing. Congrats.
