The Christmas 4 Kids Tour Bus Show in Henderson, TN Monday featured buses from some of today’s top artists, whose drivers graciously open their doors.
For a small donation, fans got the chance to see what the Roys’ and other artists’ home-away-from-home are really like.
The Christmas 4 Kids Tour Bus Show is a 2-night package deal with a parade, bus show and shopping.
The Roys along with 20-30 other stars in the Nashville area including, The Grascals, Gretchen Wilson, Daryle Singletary, Sweethearts of the Rodeo and many more were on hand Monday night to meet fans and sign autographs.
Typically this type of an event produces wide-eyed, star-gazed fans who have the time of their lives getting up close and personal time with their favorite stars but word from Elaine Roy suggests that the she and brother Lee may have enjoyed it even more.
“We just got finished doing Christmas4kids which was Monday when people get to visit over 70 buses and the money raised goes to help 400 needy kids in our county have a Christmas. Last night we went shopping with 4 children from a local school here in Hendersonville. That is just priceless to see the smiles on those kids faces. That is what Christmas is all about!!! “
THE Roys brought Bluegrass to the small screen in a big way this year with a host of appearances on network and cable outlets. In case you missed their performances, you can view them here.
Additionally, the siblings appeared on the PBS programs Pa's Fiddle: Charles Ingalls, American Fiddler and Song of the Mountains; RFD-TV's Reno's Old Time Music Festival; CMC Australia/Sky TV-U.K. Bluegrass Mountains TV Show and the Dr. Steve Show.

The duo aligned with Team RealTree™ Outdoor Energy Drink for a strategic partnership that includes tour sponsorship. THE Bus that the ROYS travel to their shows in and the Bus they hosted fans in Monday night is a distinctly-wrapped RealTree™ camouflage bus, which was named for their critically-acclaimed 2011 CD, LONESOME WHISTLE.
