It’s not too often that we hear of such things, but Monroe Crossing’s Matt Thompson was reunited with the mandolin that was stolen from his hotel room over the weekend in Glendale, AZ.
Jerry Wright is the band’s hero after finding and returning 2003 F-5 LaPlant mandolin last night at Fiddler’s Dream in Phoenix. Jerry got a rousing round of applause from the crowd when he walked in from the stage door with Matt’s instrument in his hand.
No word yet about the missing fiddle that was also stolen at the same time as the mandolin.
