Wide Open Bluegrass festival tickets are now on sale to the general public.
Wide Open Bluegrass is the weekend music festival portion of the annual bluegrass music conference and trade show from the International Bluegrass Music Association. In the past it has been referred to as Fan-Fest but was changed this year as the event moves out of Nashville and into Raleigh, North Carolina.
Wide Open Bluegrass (or WOB) shares the same acronym as WORLD OF BLUEGRASS which has been the official name of the conference for several years.
The WOB festival features an all-star lineup: An epic collaboration of Alison Krauss, Del McCoury, Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas, and Mark Schatz; Punch Brothers; Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell; The Infamous Stringdusters; Seldom Scene; The Gibson Brothers; Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver; Dailey & Vincent; Greensky Bluegrass…and more!
