Pickin’ In The Pines to Offer Dr. Banjo Jam Camp

Image635094696760576613Do you bring your instrument to a festival but feel shy about taking it out and actually playing with other people? You are not alone, even if it sometimes feels that way!

For years Pete Wernick, Dr. Banjo, has been helping closet pickers start jamming, playing real bluegrass at slow speeds, and learning the ear skills and ensemble skills that are hard to pick up on your own.

Certified ‘Wernick Method’ instructor, Mark Miracle, will be offering a set of jam classes at Flagstaff’s premier outdoor music festival, Pickin’ In The Pines, September 13-15, 2013.

Mark is a very popular instructor who teaches multi-week Wernick Method classes in the Phoenix area. And now he's offering a special festival jam class -- one session each day Saturday and Sunday!
Mark is friendly, understanding, and very experienced with novices.

Here's what students at Mark's recent jam classes had to say: ... Mark was superb .... very encouraging ... adjusted the program to fit our needs ... a great listener and instructor ... Mark did a great job, both with the group and individually ... worth every penny!

The class will run Saturday/Sunday 10am-noon.

  • All skill levels are welcome.
  • Festival admission required.
