The band has announced they are spearheading a fund raising drive including a benefit concert they will host in Fayetteville, AR in an effort to bring more light, hoe and support to a place they hold dear.
The Hillbenders know many people affected by the recent flooding on the Front Range, and realize its impact has been significant. They are offering a helping hand by hosting a Foothills Flood Relief Benefit - Working Together to Help Colorado's Front Range.
Their generosity and compassion for those in need of help in Colorado is passionate proof of their “Show Me” roots.
The Foothills Flood Relief Benefit – Working Together to Help Colorado’s Front Range will happen on Thursday, October 24 at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, AR. The benefit will include special guests, the Cindy Woolf & Mark Bilyeu Band featuring Jody Bilyeu (of Big Smith) and a silent auction.
All funds raised through the benefit will go to the Foothills Flood Relief Fund through Foothills United Way in Lafayette, CO.
If you’re not able to attend the benefit concert, there is still a way to help. Monetary donations can be sent directly to the Foothills Flood Relief Fund. Additionally, Georges Majestic Lounge will accept donations for the silent auction; which could be just about anything, such as music, movies, merchandise, instruments, strings, books, flash drives, camera, iPad, and so much more.
Proceeds will directly support the communities of Jamestown, Lyons, Longmont, Boulder, and Broomfield, CO with immediate relief for health and human services.
100% of the Foothills Flood Relief Fund will support flood relief and recovery efforts. All underwriting and administrative costs for Foothills United Way are being paid for by the generosity of their community friends and partners.
