Prescription Bluegrass has learned from a reliable source of the passing of Vikkie Sallee-Dillard, the widow of the late Doug Dillard of The Dillards Bluegrass band fame.
No further details are known at this time.
Doug Dillard died in May of 2012.
UPDATE
Vikkie’s sister Bobbie has confirmed the death which occurred early this morning, saying, “she was in total peace when she passed..the presence of the Lord was in the
room.”
