The rumors have been reported for the last week but no confirmation about a possible Nickel Creek Reunion this coming Spring ...until now.
Although no word yet has been released on the group's website, Prescription Bluegrass has learned from a reliable source that the rumors are indeed fact and the band will be touring together in the Spring and Summer of 2014.
Award winning bass player Mark Schatz, who's toured with Nickel Creek before, will be joining them and taking a hiatus from the Claire Lynch Band from March 21 through September 15th, 2014.
According to Claire, they will miss their friend and long time bass player but they are also excited to be able to play with Todd Phillips, will be filling in for Mark next Spring and Summer. "We've had some preliminary rehearsals and I can tell ya, he's a hoss and knows how to cut the mustard! So we look forward to the changes ahead and know it will be a time of musical growth for all of us," said Claire
