We just got word from Mark Newton that the Nashville Bluegrass pickers have gone above and beyond to make sure they're doing all they can to help out the benefit for Steve Thomas and his wife.
According to Mark, they have just three weeks and a few days to go before the concert on Thursday February 20th and he hopes they'll be able to pack the house with about 500 fans so they can raise as much as possible for for Steve and Janet Thomas.
The couple were quickly rendered homeless on New Years Eve when they discovered faulty wiring in their home had become a blazing inferno. They managed to save their pets, some musical instruments and themselves but the rest was lost either to the fire or to water damage.
The benefit on February 20th will be at Ernest Tubbs' Troubadour Theatre at 2416 Music Valley Drive in Nashville, beginning at 6pm.
If you cannot attend but still wish to donate any amount, you can send a check via the postal service to:
PO Box 1016, Gallatin, TN. 37066.
Please make check payable to: STEVE THOMAS
