Most every benefit is given for a good cause and the guys in Nightflyer really love helping out where they can as do all of the other bands participating this weekend.
This Sunday's benefit for Vicki Lewis is a little nearer and dearer than most. Vicki is a local bluegrass musician, but is also the mother of Nightflyer's own Angel Lewis.
Vicki is having a tough time right now dealing with bladder cancer but a big turnout this Sunday would do wonders to boost her moral.
She is going in next week for a major surgery and a good dose of caring and support from the bluegrass community would do wonders.
The afternoon's lineup includes:

There will be food, raffles, 50/50, and a silent auction, so there are plenty of ways to contribute. Donation at the door is only $5!
The benefit is being held at the Fairborn Eagles, 509 Sports St., Fairborn, Ohio this Sunday, Feb. 16th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. It looks like the weather is going to cooperate for us, but if it gets dicey at all, just check Nightflyer's homepage for info.
A little help from a lot of people goes a long way! -Sure hope to see you there" said Nighflyer in their message to us!
