Mountain Fever Records will soon release the brand new, highly anticipated album Going Nowhere Fast by Michigan's popular bluegrass band, DETOUR.
With an almost magical buzz surrounding this band for the past 2 years as a special to fans, Mountain Fever is releasing a full album digital download available now.
The album is available on iTunes, Amazon.com and dozens of other outlets.
The band is well-known for their tight, focused harmonies, precision instrumentals, and creative melodies that take listeners down a unique bluegrass road. The band’s first single, “Too Blue To Have the Blues,” written by Jeff Rose and Terry Herd, hit radio in February.

According to Mountain Fever Records' Mark Hodges they just haven't received the physical product from the duplication plant yet but they expect it soon.
According to the band's Jeff Rose, like their previous album, A Better Place, this album will also have a special song dedicated to veterans and once again all proceeds from sales of the song will be donated to the Goodwill Patriot's Place housing project for homeless vets.
The song, "Soldier's Sorrow," sung by Missy Armstrong, is an up tempo bluegrass tear-jerker that twists the theme on the bluegrass standard "Soldier's Joy" and describes a mother's sorrow when her warrior son comes home lying in a flag-draped coffin - an all too sad reality for many families.

Radio programmers and disc jockeys have been send digital download files or they may obtain them from Airplay Direct's download site. Prescription Bluegrass Radio will have "Soldier's Sorrow" on the program heard on affiliate radio stations around the world this week, beginning Saturday, March 29th.
