Feller and Hill announce the release date of their second album, coming March 25th, on the Blue Circle Record Label, titled "Here Comes Feller and Hill....Again!!!".
Following the success of their debut album, "Feller and Hill and the Bluegrass Buckaroos", the new album promises to have the same focus on vintage harmonies, instrumentation, and quality songwriting that this dynamic duo is becoming known for, in the bluegrass community and beyond.
| The first single from the new album, "The Government Blues", written by Tom T. and Dixie Hall, which was released on November 26, 2013, has already been working its way up the charts and has been featured on Sirius XM radio's Bluegrass Junction show, in recent weeks. The song is a light-hearted look at real situations, dating back to the Depression Era, but some that still ring true today. However, the new album doesn't stop there. Repeat songwriting performances by Tom T. and Dixie Hall, Judy Feller, and a bluegrass songwriting debut for Tom Feller will ensure the quality of this album to continue setting standards, for years to come. In addition, songwriters Aubrey Holt and Mark Rader have contributed some of their best original and previously unreleased material to the boys, for this project. |
As strong as the songwriting on this project will prove to be, performances by special guests Rhonda Vincent and Heather Berry-Mabe are sure to make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, when these two harmonize with Tom Feller and Chris Hill.
Special guest bass vocalist Cody Jones is back to provide those speaker-rumbling low notes, while perhaps even setting a new record for the hitting the lowest note ever recorded in bluegrass, when he joins Feller and Hill for a quartet.
Guest musicians Michael Cleveland and Steve Thomas are back on fiddles, as well as Glenn Gibson on dobro, helping to create brand new music that sounds like it could be fifty or sixty years old.
The new album "Here Comes Feller and Hill....Again!!!" will be available at www.fellerandhill.com, ITunes, and Amazon on March 25, 2014.
Feller and Hill will enjoy a heavy touring schedule this year, while promoting their new album, and hope to see everyone at the next show.
