President Woodrow Wilson approved a resolution in 1914 marking the second Sunday in May a nationwide observance for Mother's Day. We'd like to suggest a perfect song to commemorate this 100th Anniversary "Dreaming of a Little Cabin."
This is a beautiful and touching song written by Albert Brumley and lovingly rendered by James Reams and Walter Hensley with the Barons of Bluegrass on their album, Wild Card.
James is making this song available as a FREE download from his website for a limited time only. Just click HERE to be taken to the website to download the MP3.
This song is especially poignant for James as he lost his mother last year and his friend, Walter Hensley, in 2012.
James commented that he hopes they are entertaining each other in heaven with tall tales and bluegrass songs. We hope you enjoy this tender Mother's Day song as well as the many other fine offerings on this album including an original song by James Reams "Where No Heart Goes Hungry" as well as the title track written by Walter Hensley.
