I am not sure if you heard the news or not, but my brother Rick Bartley and his wife Dorothy lost their home and all it's contents to a fire one week ago today, Thursday, April 24.
They lost everything they owned other than their cars and camper. We are holding a benefit show on Friday, May 16th at 6:00 PM at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in West Liberty, KY.
The headline act for the benefit, will be a special configuration of Shayne Bartley on guitar, J.D. Crowe, Michael Cleveland on fiddle, Curt Chapman on bass, and Chris Davis on mandolin. There are numerous other artists that we are awaiting final confirmation on. It should shape up to be quite a line up.
Anyone who is unable to attend the benefit may make a donation to the cause by mailing a check or money order to Rickey Bartley c/o Shayne Bartley 112 Sardula Place, Georgetown, KY 40324. For more info they can call 859-321-9874
