Last week's news from Flatt Lonesome was not the sort of news anyone wants to hear - with two of the band's members hospitalized following an automobile accident.
This week, they're making up for it with a double headline - both exciting events for the band and fans.
In their August newsletter to fans, Kelsi, Buddy, Charli, Paul, Michael, and Dominic announced some of the greatest news in the history of the band. On August 29th, Flatt Lonesome will be making their Grand 'Ole Opry Debut. More details are promised soon.
"Getting to play our music in the same Opry circle that welcomed Hank Williams, Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash, Alison Krauss, and the rest of our heroes, is a bit overwhelming, but we can hardly wait to step on to that stage! "
To help celebrate the occasion the band will be giving away a pair of tickets to their OPRY Debut on their Facebook page.

In other news for the band, this month will see the release of their brand new album RUNAWAY TRAIN. The majority of the album will feature original songs, which they are very excited about. However, they did dust off a few gems from such varied sources as Gram Parsons, The Bluegrass Cardinals, Merle Haggard, and more.
