Josh Trivett, Owner of Moonstruck Management, and Penni McDaniel,
Owner of Hope River Entertainment are proud to announce they are
merging the agencies under the Moonstruck Management name.
“I am so
excited about the merger of Moonstruck Management and Hope River
Entertainment on so many levels. Penni McDaniel is a wonderful veteran
of the industry in all aspects: Booking, PR, Album & Radio
Promotions.
With the recent hire of Ben Wilson as Booking Agent, and
now adding all of Hope River’s services under the Moonstruck umbrella,
this fulfills my original vision. Moonstruck Management will be a full
service agency that offers artists an entire gamut of services needed to
build or advance their career,” said Trivett.
The agency’s award-winning combined talent roster now includes: Soggy
Bottom Boys, Lonesome River Band, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out,
Dave Adkins, Volume Five, Hogslop String Band, Newtown, Sweetwater
String Band, Trinity River Band, Bluegrass 45, and Jesse Kramer.
Moonstruck Management will now be offering in-house publicity and other
services to their clients that currently do not have those services
provided by another agency.
Moonstruck Management is also the Talent Buyer for two prestigious festivals – the Huck Finn Jubilee in Ontario, California and Uncle Dave Macon Days in Mufreesboro, Tennessee. This year’s Uncle Dave Macon Days included the attempt to set the Guinness Book of World Records for the World’s Largest Square Dance, hosted by Marcia Campbell
(Grand Ole Opry, WSM) with Hogslop String Band as the featured
performer. The attempt is currently in the review process by the
Guinness Book of World Records. Next year, the festival will celebrate
their 40th Anniversary.
“I’ve been working with Josh
for many years in regards to our mutual clients, and more recently with
Ben,” said McDaniel. “I am so impressed with their enthusiasm, business
experience and professionalism. The three of us had the opportunity to
work closely together at the Huck Finn Jubilee and Uncle Dave Macon
Days, and we immediately clicked as a team. We felt like the merger was
an obvious and natural next step in helping our clients achieve their
own career goals. We are honored to be working with such talented
artists and appreciate their excitement about this new venture. I’m
excited to help expand Moonstruck Management as we head into a very
positive future with this new team.”
McDaniel will continue
providing: Management for Dave Adkins and Donna Hughes; Public Relations
services for Larry Cordle, Lonesome River Band, Volume Five, Trinity
River Band and more; Festival Publicity for the Bill Monroe Music Park
including the Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival;
Album Publicity and Radio Promotions for Trinity River Band’s Things We Do For Dreams, Lou Reid and Carolina’s Rollin’ On; and a new album coming soon on Mountain Home Music Company.
Agent, Ben Wilson
says, "I have had the pleasure of working with Penni over the last few
months. The best thing about working with Penni, is getting to know
Penni. Her professionalism is second to none. The way in which she
handles artists is like family. Personally, I am thrilled to get to
learn from her on a daily basis. With her kindness and experience in the
genre, Moonstruck Management is a stronger company today."
Sammy Shelor,
5-Time IBMA Awarding Winning Banjo Performer of the Year and band
leader of Lonesome River Band, sums it all up saying, "I've worked with
both companies for many years who have both furthered the success of
Lonesome River Band. I couldn't be more excited over this merger and
having everything under one roof. It’s a real benefit with us all
working closer together towards the common goal."
