Phil Leadbetter Benefit Planned for May 20th

Several different benefits for Phil Leadbetter are in the works.  Leadbetter was just recently diagnosed with lymphoma and the benefits are fundraiser efforts to help with medical expenses.    The May 20th event has just been updated to include the following information

  • 7:00 p.m. 
  • at the Ritz Theater 
  • in Clinton, Tennessee
  • Classic Country
Line Up So Far Includes:
  • Tim White and the VW Boys
  • Sister's of the Silver Screen
  • Ava Barber
  • Russ and Becky Jeffers
  • Serveral of the Original Barn Dance Band Members
Tickets $10.00 at the door

Auctions of Ruby Hitches Quilts and also David West will have an Autograhed guitar to be auctioned.

At least two other separate benefits are also in the works.  Information is still forthcoming but here is what we have so far.

FIRST BENEFIT:   The lineup for the first "Uncle Phil Fund" benefit has been set. Join us Friday night, May 6, at Buddy's BBQ Banquet Hall in Knoxville for award winning bluegrass and BBQ. The lineup includes Brand New Strings, Blue Moon Rising, and Steve Gulley and Friends featuring 3 time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Dale Ann Bradley and special guests. Times and ticket prices TBA soon.

SECOND BENEFIT:  Initial information on the Uncle Phil Fest show at Dumplin Valley will be released this week. It will be held June 4th at the Dumplin Valley Farm and Campground in Kodak, TN. Its gonna be a good one and I will go ahead and let you know that the tentative lineup includes Paul Williams and The Victory Trio along with The New South and Wildfire.
