Acoustic Blue has exciting news to share for the holidays. Beginning in January 2012, the band will be joined by Ray Evans on the acoustic bass. Ray is a newcomer to the bluegrass scene but is quickly adding his drive and enthusiasm to the group. His first show with Acoustic Blue will be the Berkshire Bluegrass Festival. The group’s newsletter doesn’t mention what plans former bass player Bear Aker has.
Fans will also be treated to new band photos in January from photographer Melissa Zink.
