We’ve received word that Henry (Hank) Gibson passed away of Feb. 27, 2012. Cause of death is not known at this time.
He loved bluegrass music and for many years served on the board of directors for the California Bluegrass Association.
His obituary published in the Napa Valley Register says Hank was very much a people person and was always the life of the party. He had a curious mind and never met anyone he could not talk to. He was the heart and soul of the family, and loved them all deeply.
He had a zest for life and loved to tell a good joke and had many stories to tell.
A celebration of life will be held on March 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at 1040 Orchard Ave., Napa. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Napa High Class of ‘55 Scholarship Fund, c/o Treasurer Dawn Loberg Docher, 14004 Parkland Dr. Rockville, MD, 20853-2134. Please make checks payable to Class of 55 Scholarship Fund.
