4TH ANNUAL BLUEGRASS BENEFIT CONCERT FOR KENTUCKY’S GOOD SHEPHERD AND CEDAR CREEK ANNOUNCED!

Image634769168286391294Legendary banjo player JD Crowe, known for his popular tune “Old Home Place”, which chronicles the life transition of someone leaving their home in the country for a new life in the city, along with his band, The New South, are helping individuals who are transitioning to a new home in a senior community. 

Crowe and The New South will be headlining  at the Bluegrass Through the Years Benefit Concert on September 29th at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Also appearing, will be IBM award winning band, The Boxcars and local favorites, Coaltown Dixie.

The 2012 Bluegrass Through the Years Concert benefits Good Shepherd Community Nursing Center in Phelps, KY and Cedar Creek Assisted Living Community in Pikeville KY. Both communities are part of the ministry of Presbyterian Homes And Services of Kentucky, Inc.

PHSK offers compassionate care, senior housing, and therapy services for older adults. Charitable contributions to PHSK help provide services for those who may not be able to otherwise afford care and housing.
