After several months of doing fill-ins with the Corey Zink band, John Roc has become a permanent member.
John first played with the band in August at The Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival. At the time he was on loan from the great Southern Rail Band, where he spent the last several years.
CZB had been looking for a permanent mandolin player when John approached Corey about the job. With details worked out, John decided to come on board, full time, as of January 1, 2013.
John is an outstanding mandolin player, sings baritone to round out the three part harmonies and can still drive at night!
John will have some special slots in the upcoming shows adding a new dimension to CZB.
