Image635006047120066619Not much information but a stellar list of pickers on the first single and a promise of more to come later this year is what we got in the mail from banjoist Terry Baucom (Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Boone Creek, and IIIrd Tyme Out.)

The new single from Terry Baucom's forthcoming release on the John Boy & Billy label, "What'll I Do," featuring Sam Bush on lead vocal, was written by Milan Miller (Songs From The Stillhouse/SESAC) and Mark W. Winchester (Flandeline Music/ASCAP). Credits: Terry Baucom-banjo, Sam Bush-mandolin and lead vocal, Jerry Douglas-dobro, Wyatt Rice-guitar, Steve Bryant-bass and Buddy Melton-tenor vocal.

One of the special surprises to come on the finished CD is part of that promise of more to come, including some guest work from former Boone Creek Band Mate, Ricky Skaggs.

The “Duke of Drive," Baucom won the honor for “Instrumental Recording of the Year from the IBMA in 2001.

The single, “What’ll I Do,” will be featured next week on the Prescription Bluegrass Radio Program.
