On May 3rd, bluegrass-music playing sisters Erin and Amber Rogers will combine their passion for music with their passion for curing cancer.
They will be participating in an American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Levelland, TX. The sisters tour full-time as “Scenic Roots”, but on this day they will be remembering Erin’s battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2007.
Amber was her primary caregiver, making both ladies passionate about finding a cure for this devastating disease. The sisters will be performing their unique blend of bluegrass and old-time music, plus walking laps to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
