How iconic for the the Most Award Winning Bluegrass Band to meet the driver with the Most Wins in the History of Racing?
The "Queen of Bluegrass" Rhonda Vincent met the "King of Racing" Richard Petty along with race star Jeff Gordon, during their appearances at the Food City Family Race Night, hosted in Bristol, TN on 8/22/2013.
Martha White presented Bluegrass Music with the Most Award-Winning Band in the history of Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent & The Rage.
"It was such a great honor to meet Richard Petty & Jeff Gordon," Rhonda shared after her performance in Bristol. "They were both so nice and gracious, unlike the rough and tough driver image I expected," she said laughing.
The group is also scheduled to perform at the Bristol Motor Speedway before the NASCAR Race on Friday 8/23/2013.
They will also attend the race before departing to South Carolina to perform for an Appreciation Day for the patrons of the World's Largest Campground "Ocean Lakes" in Myrtle Beach, SC.
