Banjo virtuoso Noam Pilkelny gave a bit of his personal history today in front of the assembled IBMA convention, saying Bela Fleck was his first influence.
He also discussed how bluegrass is changing, saying that IBMA has the task of protecting the traditions while embracing the changes.
