Chatham County Line from Raleigh, NC has played the Pickin’ In The Pines Bluegrass and Acoustic Music festival in Flagstaff, AZ on three different years and each time they’ve left an indelible impression.
This past weekend was no exception.
An informal survey of attendees, when asked “who were you most impressed with from among this year’s lineup,” produced an overwhelming amount of comments about Chatham County Line.
“Sharp dressers,” “I like their stage movements,” “they just seemed to enjoy being here,” “their song choices” were all common and often repeated responses to the question of: “Why did you say that band?”
Formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1999 from members of the band Stillhouse, the band has released five albums including four on the influential Yep Roc label.
Pickin’ In The Pines Photographer Bruce Walker shared these photos of the band for your enjoyment.

Great band that really understands bluegrass music. I lived in Raleigh for 10 years and have seen them 20 times. The show doesn't get old and they have perfected the craft!!
