Bob Amos, at one time a driving force behind the 1990's powerhouse band FRONT RANGE, has been getting great reviews from his first Bluegrass Solo effort since the disbanding of FRONT RANGE. ("Borrowed Time" - One of our own BEST of 2012 Picks)
Prescription Bluegrass has learned that Bob is now planning a second ALL-Bluegrass CD, this time with the members of his current band, Catamount Crossing.
A great deal of the success of FRONT RANGE was due to the ability Bob possesses to write original songs that sounded ages old.
Bob has begun work on a follow up bluegrass project to his last CD, Borrowed Time. The new project will include a bunch of new original bluegrass material plus a couple of classics.
The members of his current band, Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing, will be featured on this new project, including the amazing voice of his daughter Sarah Amos.
A CD Release concert is planned for Saturday June 7, 2014 at Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury VT.
