The Fields Become Bare

PRESCRIPTION BLUEGRASS IMAGE - CARY ALLEN FIELDSAfter More Than 10 Years of "The Fields of Bluegrass", the radio show made popular by Cary Allen Fields in Indianapolis, Indiana, The "Fields" will no longer be producing.

In a post on his webpage, Fields said, "fare thee well" to his listeners and supporters.

"...A big THANK YOU for a whole lot of happy memories every buddy. It's been a great run, but the time has come to ride off into an Indiana sunset," Fields said.

The plans that life had for him in 2002 when he began his radio show after first surveying thousands of festival attendees about the lack of bluegrass on the airwaves no longer seem to be in place and he now feels the need to start a new chapter in his live.

The time spent on his radio show he estimates to be between ten and twenty hours per week will now go towards being a husband and father.
