The 9th annual Tunes for the Trail 2014, is a benefit organized by the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and the Cayuga Waterfront Trail in Ithaca, NY to raise funding for the completion of the Cayuga Waterfront Trail.
This year is the anticipated completion of the trail with a very special band - The Steel Wheels.
The Steel Wheels are performing at music festivals across the country and are on a roll....literally. They are known for the Spoke Tours where they tour by bike between festivals each summer.
Join trail and bike advocates, waterfront lovers and roots music fans on Wednesday, March 12 at the Haunt for Tunes for the Trail.
The Cayuga Waterfront Trail will be a six-mile, multi-use trail providing an active, non-motorized transportation and recreation way connecting our community's most popular waterfront destinations. The Waterfront Trail will help Ithaca develop a sustainable transportation system, enhance quality of life and contribute to the revitalization of the community's waterfront.
