Tony Rice is not only a good friend and inspiration to mine and Steve’s music, but he is someone who has inspired so many people - not only in the bluegrass community, but also crossing so many other genres. We want to recognize and pay tribute to his tremendous talent. Tony has truly influenced us with his acoustic guitar and his musical boundaries are unlimited. After all the artists that have come down the pike, he is the first guitarist in my opinion, to truly inspire and move the music forward.  If you think of guitar – you think of Tony Rice.  He has been a true visionary and took the instrument to heights that no one had ever thought of,” explained Mark Newton.
