C.F. Martin & Co. has announced the appointment of Fred Greene as Chief Product Officer (CPO) at the guitar company.
Greene, who has been with Martin Guitars for 1o years, will be assuming responsibility for all product-related matters including product strategy, conception and development, production, innovation and product management.
He will continue to be responsible for key aspects of Martin's guitar and strings businesses, including the incredibly successful Custom Shop, new model designs, and manufacturing.
"With Martin's continued growth, I couldn't be happier for the brand's future and to be working with them in this new capacity, fully overseeing the Martin guitars and products that have been part of America's culture for over 180 years." said Greene. "Recent successes from the Custom Shop like the Ed Sheeran LX1E, which completely sold out, prove the future for Martin is bright."
