Missy Werner Releases Third Album!

PRESCRIPTION BLUEGRASS IMAGE - COVER ART - MISSY WERNERMissy Werner's third album, "TURN THIS HEART AROUND", officially arrives in stores this week.

The CD  features cuts recorded with her band, and also includes a set of tracks with special guests; Sierra Hull, Megan McCormick, and Sarah Siskind, along with a host of others.

This project was a true labor of love for Missy, working with producer Jon Weisberger to record a project that combines the most traditional songs (I Just Got Wise and Rough Edges) to contemporary numbers (Wish I Was and Come Back to Me).

The song selections also run the gamut of emotions, from happy (Cloudless Blue) to sad (I Always Do), love lost (The Heart You Break and You'll Never Care). A Bluegrass Gospel number, "Travelin' Light", is a gospel quartet recorded in the old time vein and features Jeremy Garrett of the Infamous Stringdusters singing the lead vocal. Eric Gibson lent his first ever outside songwriting cut," Rocks In The River", same with a Sierra Hull co-write on "A Song That I Love". A cover of Gretchen Peter's "Main Street" tells the story of changes in the home town. Larry Cordle visited Ben Surratt's Rec Room Studio to lay down a harmony vocal on the chilling "Dead Man Walking", one that he also co-wrote. "Snake In The Grass" is an instrumental tune written by banjo picker Jeff Roberts.

The album, including both physical copies and MP3 downloads is available for purchase at missywerner.com, CDBaby, iTunes and Amazon.
