THE ROYS' new single, "No More Lonely," reaches #1 on the current Bluegrass Today Weekly Airplay Chart as the siblings ready for performances at IEBA and IBMA, garner two key final-round ICM nominations, and enjoy the addition of their new video to the VEVO lineup.
"This is our first #1 on the BT chart," observes Lee Roy. "It's huge and, with the honor of our nominations, a great way to kick off the talent buyers' convention and World of Bluegrass Week," adds Elaine.
The siblings are enjoying final-round nominations for ICM Inspirational Bluegrass Artist and Vocal Duo or Duo Performance Awards. Winners will be announced at the Faith, Family & Country Awards' 20th anniversary spectacular in Nashville on November 13.
The duo will perform Monday, Sept 29 at 10:30 p.m., along with other members of the Buddy Lee Attractions' roster, during the44th Annual IEBA Conference (September 27-30). Then they head to Raleigh, NC for the IBMA World of Bluegrass event (Sept 30-Oct 4) and will perform at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 3.
"No More Lonely" is currently #6 on BLUEGRASS JUNCTION MOST-PLAYED TRACKS Sirius XM Radio. The track is fromTHE ROYS' fourth Rural Rhythm Records' CD, THE VIEW, which debuted on the Billboard Top 10 Bluegrass Albums chart at #2, is currently #11 on the TOP 50 APD Bluegrass/Folk Albums chart and #19 on The Roots Music Report's Weekly Top 50 Bluegrass Album Chart.
