Stephen Burwell just came on board with Doyle Lawson & 
Quicksilver and his first show with the band will be Saturday, in Galax, VA.
Stephen moved to North Carolina from Washington state last month. He is new the southeast part of our country but has been at IBMA and SPBGMA many times, and played with several groups before landing with DL&Q!
Stephen has 5 brothers and 2 sisters so Doyle figures won't have any trouble getting along with the guys on the bus! "He's one of the most polite young men I've ever met, said Doyle. "I know you will enjoy his fiddle playing..." Doyle couldn't stop smiling when they were rehearsing in the office early in the week.
