Country Star Eddy Raven Joins Lorraine Jordan for "Country Grass" Video

What do you get when you pair one of the hottest bluegrass acts in the country, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, with some of Country music's top legends?

You get the Bluegrass genre's latest trend that has been sweeping the nation: COUNTRY GRASS

Eddy Raven, who is the original singer of the #1 Billboard hit, "I Got Mexico," recently went into the studio with Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road to re-cut the fun, upbeat song, but this time Bluegrass style.
The video was shot on-location in Nashville.

COUNTRY GRASS, released earlier this year, features collaborations with other Country Greats like Crystal Gayle, Lee Greenwood, The Kentucky Headhunters, T.G. Sheppard, Eddy Raven, John Conlee and Marty Raybon in addition to the late Jim Ed Brown and Lynn Anderson.

"It was such an honor to get to work with Eddy" said Lorraine Jordan. "I was surprised to learn that he is a big Bluegrass fan, so it's going to be a lot of fun playing with him on these upcoming shows."

Bluegrass professionals will get a first-look at the unique combination during IBMA's annual convention in Raleigh. On September 29, both Eddy Raven and Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road are set for showcase appearances at the IBMA DJ Appreciation Showcase, along with the TIR NA NOG venue, both located in the Raleigh area.

Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road will be performing solo on Friday, October 2 at the Hargett Street Stage.

The reigning SPBGMA "Female Vocalist of the Year (traditional)," is bringing the "Country Grass Show" with Eddy Raven to audiences later this year.
The first dual-concert kicks off in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. on December 12, during the Christmas in the Smokies Bluegrass Festival.

A North Carolina Tour will commence in early 2016, with appearances in Garner, Kinston, New Bern, Rocky Mount, Valdese, Asheville and more. Stay tuned for more information on these shows, along with additional tour dates to be added.
