The Foundation For Bluegrass Music is asking you to support the future of Bluegrass Music with a tax deductible year-end gift.
They know this holiday season you are making tough decisions about where your yearly donations are going. And they ask that you please consider a small donation to the Foundation for Bluegrass Music that will go toward helping Bluegrass Music reach youth throughout the US and beyond.
The Foundation connects passion with purpose and is a means for people and organizations to support the art form through charitable donations and planned giving.
The Foundation is a certified non-profit with 501c3 status (your accountant will want to know this), and the programs they help support benefit arts and culture, education, literary works, historic preservation and other efforts of public benefit related to bluegrass music.
Your donation will be used for one of the many programs the Foundation supports. Programs to which they’ve given support through the generous donations of bluegrass music fans and artists like you include:
- The Wheeling Park High School Bluegrass Bands Wheeling, WV
- Passing the Pick and the Bow Whitesburg, KY
- The Fiddle Kids program at Freight and Salvage in San Francisco, CA
- The College Bluegrass Band showcase at the IBMA World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, NC
A full list of programs, including Bluegrass in the Schools and the Discover Bluegrass DVD, can be found at their website.
Donations can be made online and you can read more about the Foundation's work on their website:
