New Music From Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome Released Last Week!

The new project from Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome, A Distant Horizon was released August 26, 2016 on Union House Records to rave reviews!

Jeff and the boys along with special guest and producer Wayne Taylor were at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol VA with a packed house for a live broadcast and live stream with Radio Bristol to celebrate the CD release.

“A Distant Horizon, is a great compilation of straight ahead bluegrass! I highly recommend it to everyone! The debut single, A BETTER GAME is a song that I co-wrote with my friend Scott Patrick. It was released to national radio last week. Great job by Jeff and his band. Jeff's touring band (Austin Brown on bass as well as a substantial amount of guitar work, Kyle Murphy on fiddle, Nick Goad on mandolin, Mitch Walker on banjo) did a terrific job in the studio! Wayne Taylor from Blue Highway not only served as producer of this project, but also performed a duet with Jeff on "Back When My Bluegrass Was Green", a song written by Wayne Taylor, Tim Stafford and Kim Williams. Wayne said, "There are times in this life when you are asked to do something totally unexpected, this happened to me when my longtime friend Jeff Brown asked me to help with this record. Great material and great musicians equal a project that I consider it an honor and am very proud to be part of."

Other special guests on this project include Adam Haynes (fiddle player with The Grascals) and Gaven Largent (dobro player with Blue Highway).
