Wildfire Returns To Pinecaastle with New CD Out Today!

imageWildfire is about to make their long anticipated return to Pinecastle Records with the today’s release of their new album Rented Room on Broadway.

This is their fifth studio album and features two of the band's original members Robert Hale (guitar and vocals) and Curt Chapman (bass).

Hale and Chapman are joined on the album by Chris Davis on mandolin and vocals, Greg Luck on fiddle, guitar, and vocals, and John Lewis on banjo and vocals.

The album includes a couple of Hale written originals (Home Again and Three) as well as the band's typical mix of bluegrass styles. The single “Bible and a Bus Ticket” is already charting at #10 on Roots Music Report.

"This new CD might be my favorite Wildfire project that we've ever done. I think we have a really strong selection of songs. It has a ‘Mom and Dad/Home and Family’ theme that can be heard throughout. I couldn't be more proud of this one!" - Robert Hale

Wildfire’s previous Pinecastle releases have been a consistent sight on the various bluegrass radio charts, frequenting the #1 spot.

Their discography on Pinecastle includes Uncontained, Where Roads Divide, and Rattle of the Chains. Hale also released his solo album Pure and Simple on Pinecastle.

"I am very proud of this CD. It is our best effort yet. We knew as we were recording it that we had something special. The material on this project spans from modern to traditional straight ahead bluegrass, something for every taste you might say." - Curt Chapman
