New Record Label for Fiztmaurice Band!

Fitzmaurice signs with INFIDEL Records

Embracing a crossover sound between progressive bluegrass and alternative country, Fitzmaurice has captured the attention of people on both sides of the tracks.

With a quickly growing fan base across the nation, the band finds themselves on the fast track to success, sharing the stage with such acts as The Infamous Stringdusters, The Dixie Bee-Liners and Mountain Heart as well as major country recording artists Jason Michael Carroll and Josh Gracin.

Breaking out of the standard mold for most stringbands, Fitzmaurice is reaching out to the world of Rock and Pop in addition to Americana and Country, seeking to declassify themselves from any genre and reach a larger audience. This latest development is a major step in accomplishing this goal.

"Stellar musicianship, youthful and energetic stage appearance, and MONSTER vocals can be expected while attending a Fitzmaurice Band performance. This band demanded my attention and kept me waiting for the next tune when I saw them live last Spring. When these folks deliver a song, they're not faking it. The feel in every downbeat as well as the soul that breathes in every lyric is the real deal!" ~ Josh Shilling, Mountain Heart

"When looking back at the development of the subgenre of newgrass music, what distinguished trend-setting bands such as Newgrass Revival and Skyline were the presence of a strong lead vocalist to match collective outstanding instrumental skills, a body of distinctive and unique material, and a collective ear for fine arranging. Fitzmaurice displays all of these strengths on what turns out to be, amazingly enough, their debut recording...This is a group with ability, style, and originality that are absolutely astonishing for being so new. They're definintely worth keeping an eye on, and one can only hope that they stay together long enough to carve out their own niche in newgrass music." - Bluegrass Unlimited
