Sierra Hull, a 19-year-old mandolin player, now in her final year at Berklee College of Music, is the first bluegrass artist to be awarded that institution's prestigious Presidential Scholarship. This award is given to only five students out of thousands of applicants. It includes tuition, school fees, and room and board.
